I was inspired by the Poinsettia pillows that Centsational Girl made here. I don't have many throw pillows but I really liked the idea. So, I modified her tutorial into a wall hanging. I didn't take any pictures along the way, but I can give you a basic idea of what I changed. I started with a white felt circle in an embroidery hoop. I hand sewed the petals on, but I didn't sew them down the center like she did, because I was afraid that they wouldn't lay against the wall well enough.
Also, I didn't have a covered button, so I just sewed a felt circle in the middle. I still like CG's better so I may have to do a throw pillow after all, but I do like the alternative version enough to keep it hanging even after Christmas! Hope you like it :)

Very crafty! Great idea for a feathery, light wall poinsettia!
Very cute! This would look great in red too.
Oh, I'm just so flattered you linked to me ! Yours are so sweet - love the color !
