I'm tempted to avoid this green tip, because I don't want my husband to read it. He'll get all gloaty (is that a word) and think that this means I want to live a minimalist lifestyle, get rid of all our furniture and paint that remains (you know, the walls and the floor) white. But, I think it has to be covered. And, since I'm fresh off a cleaning/purging binge, it's likely now or never.
The greenest thing you can do is to avoid buying things you don't need. This is one green tip that I always have a hard time following...How about you? Any suggestions to avoid unnecessary purchases?
Below is a list of links to some of our favorite blog reads. These ladies have inspired us so much in our own blogging endeavors. Thank You!

Move to the country so that it takes forever to drive anywhere and by the time you decide to make the trip, you realize you didn't need what you were wanting after all lol
Hi Heather!
thanks for the love and that little ray of sunshine!! :)
I've been following you for a while... always good stuff here!
I'm on the green train and just finished making some upcycling stuff that I'm giddy about!
Hope we will stay in touch! Your blog is great great!
I am very obsessed with thrift store shopping and treasure hunting...so, if I am buying stuff that has already been loved and fixing it up, that's green, right?
So I read this post yesterday. Today I was at the Salvation Army eyeballing all the crap they have that you think you can craft into something when you really know what'll happen (nothing). And I thought about your words of wisdom and turned around and walked out. Thanks!
Heather...you know I don't follow this one..especially when it comes to craft supplies!
Oof, that's a tough one for me, too. Although going through the house and cleaning it out does feel great!
I use the cash system... I get a set amount of "play money" each month... and when it's gone it's gone. That helps us to not buy unnecessary junk!
