Yudu that I did!

I finally got to use my new Yudu!  And, now, I finally got to post about it!  I made this shirt for my friend Ann's little girl.  She just turned three!  And, now I've given it to her, so I can post about it!  With her name being spelled differently, I figured she probably never found things with her name on them and every girl deserves to have a little birdie of her own!

This was a simple (and inexpensive) T-shirt and leggings, but personalization makes it a bit more special and exciting.

As for the yudu experience, I can see where people would get discouraged, as there is definitely a bit of a learning curve to it.  However, this was my first attempt and I'm super happy with how it turned out.  I tested the screen on a piece of test fabric and then I screened this shirt - so I didn't waste much in this whole process.  I'm looking forward to getting used to the whole process and getting quicker at each step.  I can't wait to make a lot more personalized gifts.  I have some really fun ideas for gifts for people I love, as well as gifts for people you love (that will be stocked in the shop!)...Stay tuned!

What a great job! That T-shirt looks great and I'm sure both mother and daughter were delighted with your present.

Have a sunny Friday!

And we did, indeed, love the result! She has only a few things with her name on it. And I'm totally coming over to use that Yudu ;D

I just got a cricut and have yet to use it...but I have my eye on a Yudu! The shirt is too cute. My daughter has a name that is not common...so I will be making her things too.
